A key part of what we do at Strata Data is professional asset management – the maintenance of our clients’ buildings affects the way they live and the value of their asset. We are also often judged by the quality of work and efficiency of the tradespersons we use.
To manage this valuable service to our clients we offer:
- our own maintenance company, Strata Data Maintenance with experienced, full time tradespersons, and a fleet of Strata Data Maintenance vehicles. We are one of the few companies in Australia able to offer this service. See more about Strata Data Maintenance.
- an established Approved Contractor program, in which we work with contractors to develop their understanding of body corporate work, and in which they provide a number guarantees on their work for the corporations we manage.
- long-term relationships (some over 25 years young) with contractors in all areas of building and maintenance. We only ever engage professional and qualified contractors and tradespersons to carry out maintenance. Your preferred tradespersons can also be used, upon request.
- our in-house licensed Building Inspector, who can meet with contractors on site, negotiate special terms according to your requirements, arrange tenders and ensure that inspections are carried out during work in progress. See Paul’s profile
- two full-time, in-house maintenance administrators to manage the information and communication flow between contractors, body corporate managers and clients.
- a 24-hour emergency line, 365 days a year. This is not a paging service and is always answered by one of our experienced staff.

Strata Data Maintenance [ top ]
Strata Data Maintenance was established in 2000 with a view to providing specialist maintenance service to Bodies’ Corporate.
Specifically, Strata Data Maintenance only provides maintenance to clients of the Strata Data Group. By directly employing professionals in key areas we have established a team of top quality tradesmen that are only available to our clients. Each of these tradesman are highly trained, both in their particular area of expertise, as well as in understanding relevant body corporate issues.

For example, they know what is at the corporation’s cost and what is an owner’s own cost. In addition they are in regular contact with your body corporate manager and therefore excellent communication is maintained.
The team’s Manager, Paul Effingham brings a wealth of experience to his role and regularly provides our clients with expert advice.
